How does PitchDuck generate a deck?
PitchDuck uses a two-step flow designed to keep your usage efficient. First, you iterate on the deck structure as text - slides, sections, key takeaways - in a low-cost conversation where you can refine the outline as much as you need. Once the outline is right, you commit to the full deck generation in a single step. This way you only spend on the heavy compute when you are confident the deck is shaped the way you want.
What is a "point" and how many decks does that give me?
Points measure compute used by the AI. The structure conversation in step one is light - a typical refinement costs only a small fraction of a full deck. The generation in step two is the main cost. Deck cost varies with length and depth, but Pro Plus covers 3x the monthly usage of Pro Basic.
What happens if I run out of points?
New deck generation and chat refinements pause until your cycle resets. Existing decks stay fully accessible - PDF and PPTX exports continue to work on anything you've already generated. Your cycle resets automatically on your billing date, or you can upgrade to Pro Plus for 3x the monthly usage.
How does PitchDuck flag weak points in my deck before I share it?
Every Pro deck includes Duck Review - a built-in critic that surfaces the assumptions you've baked in, the data gaps a sharp reader will push back on, and concrete suggestions to tighten each slide. Think of it as a senior partner glancing at your draft and asking the questions you'd rather hear in private than in the room.
Can I switch between Basic and Plus?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Is my data private?
Your decks, uploaded files, and conversations stay private to your account. We never use your content to train AI models.
How do I cancel?
From the in-app settings, one click. Your access continues to the end of the current cycle, then drops back to Free automatically.
